Description
It's a bit a hard from time to time sit down and start drawing. And it just depends how fast you can motivate yourself to do something again. So my friend SereneRiver suggested me to do a redraw of my old drawing and it really worked! Surprisingly... Just a free mind without the usual thoughts like 'what should I draw', 'what will be good enough?' and so on. And plus the nostalgic feel to it since you are giving your old self a present from the future.
So, guys, how do you battle artblock? Do you have any special techniques or may be suggestions? Aside from redrawing I could just suggest training the basics which doesn't require much fantasy or inspiration.
About the image:
I am puzzled since I don't remember this guy from any of my other OCs. I don't have particular story with him and just can assume from the image that he has mechanical limbs. He is for sure not a human, somewhat of a chimera between an elf and a lizard may be? Decided to change him to a more fantasy-like character with magical limbs and a tail and scraped the mechanical parts. Friend suggested a name Anfreyn. What do you think?
And here is the comparison of the two images - Now and then
